The Company Stores
The Company Stores are a modern rock band from Charleston, WV. Their 2017 sophomore album, Little Lights, recorded at Echo Mountain Studio with Grammy winning producer Julian Dreyer, has been getting phenomenal reviews, and is being spun all over the U.S. and Canada. Described by Skope Magazine as being led by “Casey Litz’s soulful, sultry vocals, a funky horn section, and a gritty backbeat”, the band “links Appalachian folk influences with a progressive, electronic sound that isn’t afraid to break boundaries” and “explores the vastness of rock and all it has to offer.”
The Company Stores have been hard at work over the last six years as a band. Since their start as a full band in May 2013 they have released two albums, and are working on their third. They have been on the iconic Mountain Stage Radio Show, countless festivals including Floydfest, Mountain Music Festival, Deep Roots Mountain Revival, Camp Barefoot, and Blue Plum Festival, and have toured all over the United States. Their latest album “Little Lights”, released in April 2017, has received countless positive reviews proclaiming it as one of the best regional releases of the year.
